Having apparently waited years to tell the story behind his latest album cut, MURS finally gets the opportunity to elaborate on Okey Dog. The Strange Music signee's storytelling is top-notch, centered around a protagonist forced to deal with the gangbanging and pursuit of respect around him. Notable pop producer Jesse Shatkin provides the knocking instrumental here, and is responsible for most of the boardwork on the album. Have A Nice Day hits stores May 19, circle your calender.
