Though he just inked a deal with G.O.O.D. Music, Holt (formerly Hollywood Holt) has been around for years -- his first introduction to Booth readers came in 2008. In the wake of his recent signing, the Chicago native calls upon inspiration from the movie Drive to cover Nightcall, a record by French house artist Kavinsky off the film's soundtrack. Frequent collaborator and producer Million $ Mano reworks the electronic pounding of the original, over which Holt and the featured Emily Morse croon over. Holt's self-directed video, despite the slow pacing, shows him and his crew coming to the rescue of a certain damsel in distress. Look to the Booth to keep you supplied with any of Holt's future 2015 plans.
