If you've been sleeping on Wes Period, it's about time to wake up and smell the (Lilac) Roses. After taking us through some Highs & Lows a few weeks ago, the LA rhymesayer is back to take us into spring with his latest release. Lilac Rose is a breezy love song, produced by Colin Baylen, that finds Period and Houston emcee Fat Tony looking to "spend all winter in [their] summer clothes," while paired off with a couple of beautiful women. It doesn't appear that Lilac Rose will be attached to anything larger, but keep it locked to the Booth for more of this young buzzmaker's future plans.
