August Alsina came from, “drop tops and old-school chevy’s,” as he remarks to begin the debut single from his forthcoming, still-untitled sophomore album. The appropriately titled Hip-Hop is produced by Knucklehead and Korner Keyz, who lace the R&B buzzmaker with some smooth boardwork for his soulful crooning. After his debut album, Testimony, last year received acclaim from the Booth and our readers, Hip-Hop is a sign that Alsina is working on a very worthy follow-up.
