Jadakiss & Styles P - Block Work

  • Artist: Jadakiss
  • Track: Block Work
  • Feat. Styles P
  • Producer: Darrell "Digga" Branch
  • Album: None

For weeks now, Jadakiss has delivered one freebie freestyle after another. Today, the Yonkers veteran connects with fellow D-Block emcee Styles P to spit some of that Block Work. Unattached to a larger body of work, the freestyle finds the L.O.X members paying homage to a handful of Black lives that been tragically been lost in recent memory, including Baltimore's Freddie Gray. The landscape for their rhymes is Cam'ron's Losin Weight, which samples Teddy Pendergrass' Don't Leave Me Out Along the Road. Kiss has been hinting at a new album since a February appearance on Sway in The Morning, but nothing concrete has been announced. In the meantime, though, you'll be able to happily settle for a guest spot on Skyzoo's forthcoming LP.
