It is with immense pleasure that I present to you the soulful stylings of DJBooth newcomer, Mr. Leon Bridges. I've been watching him like a hawk for the past six months or so, waiting for an official offering so that I could share his music with DJBooth Nation. Well, that time is now. Just a few seconds into Coming Home and you will undoubtedly understand why I'M so excited. DJBooth is primarily a hip-hop site, but above all else we love great music and Leon Bridges is just that. With a voice as pure as freshly fallen snow and a swaying, bare bones instrumental, Bridges sound may be vintage, but he shows that there is no time limit on soul. Plans for a larger project are still unknown, but with a voice like this, a Columbia Records co-sign and a ever-growing buzz, it won't be long until we are blessed with more.
