Back in the day, artists had a plan when they released new material. Approval was needed, hoops made to jump through. Now, without warning or hesitation, a song is uploaded and released to the net. No thought, no apparent plan. For instance, take Lil Herb, who on Sunday morning decided to unleash three new records, none tied to an announced larger body of work. With a guest spot from fellow Chicagoan Lil Bibby and production from C-Sick, however, it's safe to assume that there's a plan for Better Dayz. Or maybe not. Who knows?
