Akon - Sorry, Blame It On Me
- Artist: Akon
- Track: Sorry, Blame It On Me
- Feat. Clinton Sparks
- Producer: Clinton Sparks & Akon
Hit maker Akon expresses his sympathies to both the underage girl he "danced with" on stage and her family on the apologetic song, Sorry, Blame It On Me. Produced by world renowned DJ, Clinton Sparks, the song also features an apology to Gwen Stefani because the incident caused Verizon Wireless to pull out as sponsor of Stefani's tour (for which Akon was the opening act.) Although Sorry won't get Akon back into the good graces of those who were appalled by his actions, the song reiterates to fans the unbelievable amount of talent he possesses.
