Alex Wiley - Vibration
- Artist: Alex Wiley
- Track: Vibration
- Producer: Hippie Sabotage
- Album: Village Party
To paraphrase Brian Wilson, I'm pickin' up some good Vibrations, and they all seem to be coming from Alex Wiley's direction. On single numero dos off his sophomore independent album, coming on the heels of late February's Own Man, the Windy City buzzmaker reaffirms his commitment to keeping it positive and authentic, despite the “bullsh*t” he has to contend with on a daily basis. While Wiley's lyrics are on-point as usual, his breakneck flows are the main attraction; backed by Hippie Sabotage's staccato keyboard chords and subtly driving rhythm section, the artist delivers flurries of triple-time rhymes that'll doubtless take several listens to fully unravel. Village Party is scheduled to drop via Closed Sessions at a yet-undetermined date this spring. In the meantime, of course, you can keep your browsers locked to the Booth for the latest singles.
