Just shy of two months since blessing our pages with potential album inclusion Detroit's New Dance Show, Black Milk returns to our front page with another (definite) cut off his next full-length. The artist-produced instrumental that accompanies Gold Piece kicks off with a tuneful soul sample, but settles into a grittier boom-bap groove once the beat drops. Milk echoes the backdrop's subtly ominous feel on the mic, lyrically evoking the atmosphere of struggle and desperation that pervades his hood. UGK alum Bun B assists on the guest tip. Fans will be able to find Gold Piece and much more on the artist's If There's a Hell Below LP, scheduled to drop via the artist's own Computer Ugly label on October 28.
