Busta Rhymes ft. Everlast - Calm Down 3.0

  • Artist: Busta Rhymes
  • Track: Calm Down 3.0
  • Feat. Everlast
  • Producer: Scoop DeVille
  • Album: Calm Down: The Clash EP

Instead of doing the usual remix thing, Busta Rhymes seems to be approaching his latest single like a software developer. After releasing the Eminem-assisted Calm Down in late June, he proceeded to drop a 2.0 version with Slim Shady removed (I thought he was a feature, not a bug...). On the newly-released Calm Down 3.0 a new guest gets thrown into the mix. Appropriately enough, it's former House of Pain member Everlast who assists this time around, joining Buss-a-Buss over producer Scoop Deville's sampling of 1998 smash hit Jump Around. So, is this an upgrade from the previous iterations? (According to Everlast, his verse was recorded three years ago.) As always, y'all get the final say. You can find Calm Down 3.0 and much more on Rhymes's Calm Down: The Clash EP, out today via The Conglomerate Entertainment and EMPIRE.
