Connor Evans - Home to the West
- Artist: Connor Evans
- Track: Home to the West
- Producer: Tellingbeatz
- Album: #GreenLightLife
Way back in 1865, long before B.I.G took a trip back to Cali, American newspaper editor Horace Greeley once said, “Go West, young man.” A great sometime later, Connor Evans is following in the footsteps of Greeley and Biggie and is headed back Home to the West. The Redlands, California native isn't taking a car or flight like most, however, as he prefers to rough it, walking and hitchhiking his way back to the crib. As he travels, the emcee graces a Biggie-sampled, Tellingbeatz production with his refreshing, sung/rapped style. Evans’ vocals might have a slight pop lean, but there is no denying the heartfelt and soulful vibes that he emits on this hometown ode. This effort will not be placed on Evans' forthcoming, full-length summer album The Road to Coachella, but it can be found on his Booth-hosted EP #GreenLightLife, available for stream of free download.
