Da Circle ft. Sha Stimuli - Guillotine Rap

UPDATE: "Guillotine Rap" is no longer available to stream.

217-years-ago French queen Marie Antoinette’s head was placed under the guillotine when, infuriated by her opulent wealth in the face of intense poverty and hardship, the people revolted. Now, modern day rap duo Da Circle are continuing that revolutionary sentiment by placing similarly weak and materialistic rappers under the chopping block with their new single Guillotine Rap. Circle, comprised of NYC mic killers Fatz D' Assassin and Goodtime Slim, are making their DJBooth debut with Guillotine, and from the moment Dub Z’s pounding, boom-bap beat hits our headphones, the duo’s take no prisoners approach to hip-hop is clear: Fatz and Slim’s rhymes are as slow and high-caliber as shotgun blasts, with guest rapper and Booth favorite Sha Stimuli jumping in to switch up the pace with yet another flowing, high-quality verse. If you’re a rapper living in a modern day Palace of Versailles, you might want to, in the words of the all-mighty Wu-Tang Clan, protect ya neck. Guillotine Rap is the first leak off Da Circle’s Statik Selektah hosted project The Safe, coming sometime later than tomorrow.
