DB2 - Prototype

  • Artist: DB2
  • Track: Prototype
  • Producer: Gnyus
  • Album: None (Promo Single)

On his last feature, released back in February, indie crooner DB2 let his woman know just how much she meant to him, promising, “I'll Never Let You Go.” Turns out, he may have spoken a bit too soon, as freshly-minted promo cut Prototype finds the unsigned artist bringing his considerable game-spitting abilities to bear on a brand new girl. Over a moody, sensual synth beat by Gnyus (also the beatsmith behind Joell Ortiz's CRACK SPOT, featured today along with its official visuals), DB2 urges her to acknowledge the obvious chemistry between them and reciprocate his advances, before her mind games exhaust his patience. Prototype isn't part of anything larger, but we'll keep you supplied with the latest from DB2 in the weeks and months ahead.
