For those not keeping track of Dem Franchize Boyz' label issues, the Booth will now provide a recap: after their debut on Universal, Jermaine Dupri bought out their contracts for a deal with So So Def/Virgin, but once JD took So So Def to Island Urban Music, the Atlanta quartet was left behind as Virgin got absorbed into Capitol, which they subsequently got dropped from. Okay, take it all in. Fortunately, the DFB foursome was able to keep their master tapes before moving to their new home at Koch. On September 30, a collection of old and new records will be featured on their third studio album, Our World, Our Way. The first official single, Turn Heads, is similar to their previous hit, Ridin' Rims, with the primary difference being producer LT Moe's smoother low-tempo beat and R&B singer Lloyd's trademark soft vocals.
