DMP ft. Joell Ortiz - Pop Sh*t
- Artist: DMP
- Track: Pop Sh*t
- Feat. Joell Ortiz
- Producer: Nottz
- Album: God Made Durt
DMP, also known as Durte Muzik Pradukshun, are feeling a little cocky with Slaughterhouse member Joell Ortiz, and what better way to show you're feeling cocky than to Pop Sh*t. While these guys seem to have a hard time spelling - the title of their upcoming album is God Made Durt - they don't have a hard time rapping. Produced by Nottz, Pop is a track that will have any gangster feeling good, and any broke brother feeling like it's the 1st and 15th of the month. The beat begins with a synth chopped sample, and is later accompanied by heavy drums, a nice piano riff and an even nicer hard cymbal foundation. Joell guest stars with intro and hook vocals, letting you know that this may be Pop Sh*t, but it's hard sh*t. The DMP boys show off their sixteens, and all have nice flows throughout the track. While this may not be a "radio ready" single, it's a good indication that the upcoming will be nice; you'll just have to keep it locked to The DJBooth for an exact release date.
