The-Dream ft. Jeezy - Love King (Remix)
- Artist: The-Dream
- Track: Love King (Remix)
- Producer: L.O.S. Da Mystro
- Album: Love King
We’ve got a lot of ground to cover on The-Dream’s new Love Kingremix, so let’s not waste any time. First, while the Radio Killa announced on his Twitter that the official-official remix will feature Luda (the duo have already shot a video), in the meantime he’s brought on “don’t call me Young anymore” Jeezy for the merely "official" remix. Here the original production, by L.O.S. Da Mystro, and Dream's typically hypnotizing vocals remain largely untouched, meaning it’s the Snowman’s always gritty vocals that make all the difference. While I personally prefer my Jeezy rhymes about flipping kilos, not lovestruck young ladies, those who liked his work on Love in This Club should love his vocals here as well. And now for the question you knew was coming: does Jeezy’s verse add or subtract from the original? Well…? Either way, the anticipation surrounding Dream’s upcoming third album, which he says might be his last, is sure to only get bigger before it finally drops on May 17. Mark your calendars.
