Update: The visuals for Detroit Vs. Everybody have been added.
When the tracklisting for the upcomingShady XV double album was released late last month, there was one record on the 'X' disc, made up of all-new material, that had fans buzzing above all others: Detroit vs. Everybody. The reason? Oh, sorry, I mean six reasons? Eminem, the most famous rap artist from the largest city in the state of Michigan, recruited five of his most famous neighbors, coming together with longtime collaborators Royce Da 5'9" and Trick Trick, new school A-lister Big Sean and current buzzmakers Danny Brown and Def Loaf. Since it's impossible for a collaboration of this magnitude to not turn into a "Who had the best verse?" contest, our vote is for Marshall. If picking Em is cheating, though, then we'll gladly cast our ballot for Danny Brown, whose unique, eccentric style leaves quite a lasting impression over the solid boardwork of Statik Selektah. If you were on the fence before about copping the new album on November 24, you have yet another reason to think twice.
