Esinchill ft. Dave Hollister - Soul of the City
- Artist: Esinchill
- Track: Soul of the City ft. Dave Hollister
- Producer: Konstantine Jones [for RCeason]
- Album: Vigilante
The Bay has always been known for its sense of style, rebellious culture and originality. Thus, it is very interesting to hear the plight of East Oakland, California native, Esinchill, who tries to find solid footing on his brand new song, Soul of the City. With an R&B boost from Dave Hollister, this uplifting track finds Esinchill trying to carve out his own identity amongst well-known Bay Area hip-hop/funksters like E-40 and Too Short. Producer Konstantine Jones provides a well-thought-out blueprint to fit Esinchill’s design, but Soul of the City is more likely to touch your soul than it is to be played in your city. Esinchill’s brand new album, Vigilante, is set for a mid-to-late February/early march release; a project he hopes will certify the “Oakland Folklore” as a bona fide urban legend.
