Future - Hardly
- Artist: Future
- Track: Hardly
- Producer: Southside
- Album: Monster
Mourning is a muse for the most honest music, every artist has one song that is a canvas for their grief. Even Future Hendrix has to deal with the woes of mortality, in memory of OG Double D, Future gives one of his most sincere performances on Hardly. I find the introspective Future to be a nice change from turning on lights, and multitasking at the same damn time. The self-directed video has him in a state of seclusion, no groupies or homies fill the scenes, just a crooning rapper, that's coping with life through drugs, drank, and auto-tune. Tomorrow, Future returns with his anticipated, Metro Boomin-produced mixtape, Monster. With the birth of his son, separation from his wife, and death weighing heavy on his mind, there's hope that this tape will be full of sincerity and debauchery.
