Three months after earning reader acclaim for Let It Go, G Milla continues his blunted soliloquy on freshly-minted promo single Moon Shadows, a DJBooth-exclusive world premiere. (No relation to the Cat Stevens song of almost the same name.) In contrast to the loneliness and insecurity he was experiencing on his previous feature, the artist spends this record’s verses sharing blunts, holding hands and slow-dancing in the moonlight with an unnamed female companion. His lovestruck, poetic bars come backed by an uncredited beatsmith’s twinkling bell loops and subtly driving breakbeat. Feeling this loosie?
