Not glimpsed in the Booth since way back in ’07, when he turned up as a guest on Shawty Redd‘s Drifter, Gipp (Apparently he’s no longer “big.”) makes his long-awaited return to the Booth with Shine Like Gold. Knowing that a long absence requires a grand re-entrance, the EPIC Records buzzmaker has enlisted one of the contemporary pop game’s biggest stars to assist on this radio-ready jam. Cee-Lo Green jumps on producer Dr. Freak‘s upbeat pop grooves to deliver a hook seemingly inspired by Supergrass’s 1990s Brit-pop hit Alright. Gipp’s ZAGGA LP currently lacks a drop date, but we’ll keep you posted on the set as further details emerge.
