J. Money ft. Rick Ross - I'm Ballin’
- Artist: J. Money
- Track: I'm Ballin' ft. Rick Ross
- Feat. Rick Ross
- Producer: Big Fruit
- Album: My Life "Check Me Out"
“Inside peanut butter, outside jelly/Seven days of the week, seven different Chevys...” With those words, Mississippi duo Cadillac Don & J. Money entered the nation's consciousness, just after the release of their 2006 debut album, Look At Me. Unfortunately, their success was short-lived, and the duo has since split in pursuit of solo careers. Coming the first quarter of 2009, aspiring baseball player/emcee J. Money will release his solo debut, My Life “Check Me Out.” The first single off the project is the easygoing Southern jam I’m Ballin. The track, which has unofficially floated around the Net for several months, is so easygoing, in fact, that it features guest artist Rick Ross poking fun at the rumors about his alleged relationship with Foxy Brown. Producer Big Fruit's low-brass beat allows I'm Ballin' to properly be played in the whip – not really as a speaker-blaster, but more as cruising music.
