Last month, when Jamie Foxx made his long-awaited return to the Booth with promo single Party Ain't a Party, some were concerned that he had strayed from his R&B roots to embrace a more club-oriented sound. The newly-released Ain't My Fault features no Autotune, 2 Chainz guest bars or turnt-up DJ Mustard production, just Foxx serenading an alluring female clubgoer in a breathy falsetto, accompanied by the slinky, understated synth boardwork of veteran songwriter and producer Mario Winans.
