Back when Dame Dash and Biggs Burke were still business partners with Jay-Z, the three had planned Beyond a Reasonable Doubt; a compilation album featuring several Roc-A-Fella artists rapping over Jigga's classics. As we all know, Dame & Biggs would eventually leave the Roc, leading to the album being shelved and left unheard…until just recently. One of the features was then-Roc MC, Juelz Santana, doing his own version of In My Lifetime, Vol. 1's You Must Love Me. He tells his own tale of a life controlled by selling crack cocaine (a frequent topic of Hova). Pouring his heart into the vivid picture of the coke game's bleakness, Santana suits Nashiem Myrick's production almost as well as S-Dot did back in '97; demonstrating yet again that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
