Representing the East Ham section of London, British grime MC Kano is one of the newest (among a growing number of urban artists) to emerge from "across the pond." The new single, This Is The Girl, has Kano reminiscing about a certain woman he believes is the right one. Kano sounds rather scatterbrained in his verses, which is a natural reaction when you're in love. Duly accompanied by Southampshire R&B singer Craig David (whose synthesized vocals make him sound like the UK version of T-Pain), This Is The Girl has all the tools necessary to be a hit in Britain.
