Last week, we caught our first glimpse of singer/songwriter KEIYA when she jumped on the hook of Let You In, the latest single from Kyle Woods. Now, she's back to introduce us to her solo Work. On this newly-released loosie (whose title I cleverly worked into that last sentence), the Windy City R&B buzzmaker showcases her talents on both sides of the mixing boards. Over her own hazy synths and stop-start percussion, she weighs the pros and cons of walking out on her man: “Can't decide if it's worth it to rectify this love anymore. / He's tellin' me that I should go but my heart is pleading for some more.” Like what you're hearing? While this joint is unattached to anything larger, you can keep it locked for further details on KEIYA's debut EP, which is tentatively titled SEVEN and set to drop this winter.
