I love summer, but sometimes the heat is just too much. No matter how hard I try, I can’t seem to Stay Cool. When my temperature (and consequently temper) rise, though, I think it'd probably would be best to press play on the latest feature from Kush Kelz. While the record (a Booth-exclusive world premiere) won't make it any cooler outside, at least the emcee's laid-back, breezy bars will help me forget about how f**king hot it is in my apartment. Producer illa sets the mood on Stay Cool with an offbeat, minimalist instrumental, over which the deep-voiced Kush keeps it light, exhibiting a fluid, dexterous delivery. Tying this seasonal jam together is a heartfelt chorus from hook singer Tolu. Stay Cool is slated to appear on the Jersey representative's forthcoming, currently-untitled LP, which is scheduled for release this fall.
