Last we heard from Laurel, the Southampton singer/songwriter was pining after a certain ex-man on the reader-approved Shells. Almost five months on, has she finally gotten over him? Not even close. If anything, her lovesickness has grown even more acute on the newly-released Memorials, the latest single off her debut EP. Over her and Bastian‘s haunting co-production, she lets us know just how committed she is to grieving her lost love: “All through my teenage righteousness I miss you most. / And missing you really has no purpose, but I still do it.” Memorials is the lead single off Laurel’s Holy Water EP, set to drop December 15.
