Hunting for Red October? No need to sweep the inky depths with sonar—you've found it, right here in the Booth. Part of a forthcoming street album, Lewis's latest single finds him departing from the fast-paced bars and atmospheric beats of previous features to give his experimental side free rein. Over a minimal instrumental driven by a menacing, distorted synth-bassline, the Jersey representative switches between threatening, slow-flowed bars and wordless, Auto-tuned crooning. Divine provides vocal support. The finished product feels reminiscent of Kanye's more avant-garde material, as well as the grimy aural textures of Ibn Inglor. Lewis and Taylor King direct the joint's equally outré visual accompaniment.
