Of course I love the likes of Tupac and Wu-Tang, but I can't just sit here, lie to your face and write that I don't get down with some Lily Allen. I was legitimately excited when I saw her latest record in my assignment lineup. You staunch hip-hop heads can pretend this isn't for you, but can you at least acknowledge how catchy Air Balloon is? The beat, a blooming, pop arrangement by Shellback with an airy, carefree vibe, matches the record's buoyant mood perfectly, as do Lily's bubbly, fun vocals and intoxicating energy. I guarantee you'll walk away from the record with a smile on your face! This song and Allen's last feature, Hard out Here, will both appear on an untitled/unscheduled forthcoming album, the artist's first since 2009.
