Lupe Fiasco ft. Nikki Jean - Haile Selassie

In anticipation of the January arrival (hopefully) of his long-awaited fifth album, Lupe Fiasco plans to drop a digital project bearing the pointed name “Lost in the Atlantic.” Today, we get our second taste (seeLilies) of the set in the form of Haile Selassie, a single inspired by the wise words of the titular Ethiopian monarch and (somewhat reluctant) messiah of the Rastafari movement. Soundtrakk mans the boards on this lyrically-driven cut, and frequent Lupe collaborator Nikki Jean lends her voice to the chorus. While you wait for further details on both Lost in the Atlantic and Tetsuo & Youth, be sure to peep producer S1's recent, Booth-exclusive video interview, in which he gives listeners the lowdown on Fiasco's forthcoming projects.
