I am not a big drinker, nor have I ever really listened to Little Dragon, but if the combo of Mojitos and Little Dragon is as enjoyable as MeLo-X makes them seem, I better get my drink and dragon on ASAP. For this out of left field, summertime cut, producer Abjo cooks up a fascinating production driven by a frantic, 8-bit sounding chime that is enjoyably different, but somehow goes hand-in-hand with the foundation's lingering synths. Over this unusual arrangement MeLo showcases his eccentric style with a precise, stream of conscious flow perfect for laid-back summer get-togethers. Mojitos and Little Dragon is the first release from MeLo's forthcoming project, GOD:HiFi, a follow up to his last release GOD: LoFi.
