Midwest City ft. Twista - Thought It Was Me

DJBooth_logo2x

Universal Motown has had a long line of successful R&B groups release material under their label; ever heard of New Edition or Boyz II Men? Next in that line is R&B quartet, Midwest City, who hails from a city in Oklahoma of the same name. Though the group’s debut album, Authentic R&B, was originally scheduled for release in early 2007, it will finally make its mark on the world sometime in early ’08. Kicking off the New Year just right, singers Solomon, Tone, Shamale and Shay unleash the up-tempo jam, Thought It Was Me. Fittingly, the group grabbed up one of the best the Midwest has to offer, Twista, and packaged up a single that should make ladies and radio programmers equally excitable.
