In baseball, the 9th inning is typically the last inning of the game, and despite its finality, it's usually the inning in which the most excitement goes down. With that being said it should come as no surprise that Virgina rapper Missy Elliott has titled her latest triumphant single 9th Inning. At the start of the record Elliott gives a stern reminder that she's still heavy in the game as she announces, "Now I'm in the 9th inning. Thought I fell off, ain't quite finished." As expected, 9th Inning features production from longtime collaborator Timbaland, who lends both his talent behind the boards and on the mic. Not one to disappoint fans, on top of 9th Inning the rap veteran also released a second single titled Triple Threat. Although there's no word yet on when Elliott's new album Block Party will be released, you can download both 9th Inning and Triple Threat on iTunes.
