With the upcoming presidential election in November, more and more hip-hop artists are starting to get political with their music. Adding their two cents (or would it be ten?) is Kentucky's premier rap group, the Nappy Roots. Assisted by singer Sabrina's soulful background vocals and Geenome & Haywire's epic, pounding beat, the Roots are looking forward to Election Day. Although the Bluegrass State quintet is quick to point out their major issues with government, from the Patriot Act and racial inequalities to the ban on public school prayer, they do not endorse any particular candidate.
