While it's never a good thing to judge a book by its cover, sometimes, you can get in idea of what a song will be like from its title. For instance, you know Eminem’s Kill You is not going to be a warm, fuzzy cut and you had better be ready to take a puff when the needle drops on Outkast's Crumblin’ Erb. Neak’s Power, however, should really be called Finesse, because that’s exactly what the Windy City emcee displays on his latest effort. Over a laid-back, string-heavy beat by SLOT-A, the artist exhibits a subdued, but agile flow that syncs up with the production's carefree vibe. Guest Rashid Hadee’s flow, showcased on the second verse, might be a little speedier than Neak's, but shares a similarly intoxicating, airy vibe. Though Power is sure to garner buzz for Neak’s forthcoming album, Paura/Amore, it will not appear on the project.
