Nyce Da Future ft. K. Sparks & Dave Barz - Deep In The Game

DJBooth_logo2x

If the name Nyce Da Future doesn't ring any bells, that's probably because the rapper's first feature, Guns Go Off, hit our front page way back in January of '07. Now, the Queens native is back like he never left, and he's teamed up with two familiar faces to assure Booth readers that, despite his lengthy absence, he's still knee-Deep In The Game. As he describes his life struggles and the ceaseless hustle that's brought him this far, Nyce lets listeners know that he's got the trap lifestyle running through his veins, and that's one thing that's never going to change. While K. Sparks' guest verse centers around the hard-hitting wordplay that's become his trademark, and Dave Barz (also seen on Sparks' Back Down) goes a little heavier on the braggadocio, Young Los's, sweepingly dramatic, string-sampling instrumental goes just as well with the guest emcees' triumphant lyricism as with Nyce's more fatalistic rhymes. Deep In The Game is set for inclusion on a forthcoming project, the details of which are TBA.
