“Moderation” ain't a word in Phil Adé's vocabulary. Whether it's drugs and liquor, dime pieces or paper, the DMV repper won't be satisfied till he's had Way Too Much of it. Fortunately for listeners, he's equally insatiable when it comes to blazing beats, a fact he makes abundantly clear on his latest feature. Over an hazy, understated synth instrumental by Kris Minor, the longtime Booth fave spits suavely about the struggle to balance work, romance and partying. Fellow D.C. representative Chaz French, a newcomer to the Booth, contributes a flowed opening verse, as well as some silky-smooth chorus vocals. Phil's Respect Due tape is slated to drop in early 2015; in the meantime, of course,we'll keep you supplied with the latest news and tunes.
