Raleigh Ritchie - The Birthday Girl

DJBooth_logo2x

Somewhere out in the world, there's a special lady celebrating her born day. At least, she was celebrating it; Raleigh Ritchie's newest feature is a previously-unreleased jam pulled from the vault, so who knows how long it's been since she could accurately be called The Birthday Girl. At the end of the day, though, it's a moot point; this jam is less appropriate for a party than for a rainy day spent mulling over past loves. Over an unknown beatsmith's guitar-laced production, the Game of Thrones cast member-turned-Booth acclaimed crooner loses himself in bittersweet memories of the woman in question, asking, “Was it something that I did?” This poignant jam is, as mentioned above, a loosie, but fans can hear more from Ritchie on his recently-released EP, Black & Blue Point Two.
