Red Giant - R.apid E.ye M.ovement

  • Artist: Red Giant
  • Track: R.apid E.ye M.ovement
  • Producer: Derrick "Drop" Braxton
  • Album: None (Promo Single)

At the bottom of 2014, indie/electronic duo Red Giant introduced itself to The DJBooth with Twin Peaks, an eerie single inspired by David Lynch's seminal TV series of the same name. On R.apid E.ye M.ovement, their first feature of 2015, they harness that record's uncanny, dreamlike ambiance to a more upbeat groove. Over the ghostly synths and glitchy breaks of crewmate Derrick Braxton (who also steps out from behind the boards to provide flowed bars and backing vocals), frontwoman Foxanne delivers cryptic, yet vivid lines in an alluring, smoky croon. This record is just a loosie, but we'll keep you posted as we learn more about Red Giant's plans.
