Last month, when Rome Fortune blessed our front page with No Drugs Anymore, I speculated that the ATLien might not be entirely serious about staying sober. On his latest loosie, Juice, he confirms my hypothesis beyond a shadow of a doubt. Childish Major‘s swirling eight-bit arpeggios and pulsing synth-bassline set a trippy mood as Rome makes a shawty an offer she can’t—or, in any case, won’t want to—refuse: “Drugs… let’s do drugs.” This blunted, left-of-center promo cut isn’t part of anything larger but, rest assured, we’ll keep you posted as we learn more about the unsigned buzzmaker’s plans.
