If you primarily associate Roosh Williams with the sort of blistering, triple-time lyrical flames he unleashed on his last feature, Extraordinary, you're in for a little bit of a surprise when you hit play on his latest single—but by no means an unpleasant one. Though Staring at Me finds the Houston buzzmaker taking it a bit easier on the mic, what his bars here lack in speed they more than make up for in passion and bombast. Da Stunna Beatz takes a similarly fresh approach behind the boards, layering Latin-guitar loops over a slow-rolling, heavily syncopated rhythm section. Roosh's Unorthodox LP remains unscheduled but, rest assured, we'll keep you posted on the project as further details emerge.
