Ryan Leslie is finally a top priority. When Leslie sat down inside the DJ Booth for an interview two years ago (March '06), he earnestly admitted that his production and songwriting work for NextSelection artist Cassie was more important than finishing his debut project. Now, despite preparing for the forthcoming sophomore release from his sexy singer, Leslie is all about his own project. The self-titled debut is set for release off Universal Motown on June 17, and in addition to featuring the surprise hit Diamond Girl, the LP will also include a duet with the aforementioned Cassie, Addiction. The true definition of a quadruple threat, Leslie wrote, produced, recorded and A&R'ed his whole project.
