Sean Leon - September 7

  • Artist: Sean Leon
  • Track: September 7
  • Producer: Sunny Diamonds
  • Album: None (Promo Single)

Four months after making his last Booth appearance with Keys to the City, Sean Leon returns to our front page with a freshly-released loosie. On September 7th, Sunny Diamonds's pensive, percussion-less flip of Lonnie Liston Smith's A Garden of Peace—also famously sampled in Jay-Z's Dead Presidents—accompanies the T-Dot repper as he describes his strife-ridden past, his stressful, precarious present and his (potentially) bright future in a single raw, emotionally-charged verse. This defiantly real jam isn't part of anything larger, but Sean is currently hard at work on two forthcoming projects. Keep it locked for the latest on Black Sheep Nirvana and Suburbia, both of which are currently unscheduled.
