Serge Severe & Gen.Erik - Stay Alive

DJBooth_logo2x

Back in May of 2014, Portland natives Serge Severe and Gen.Erik introduced themselves to the Booth with Giant, a single created in collaboration with X-Ecutioners vet DJ Total Eclipse. Despite the rave reader reviews, it took the emcee/producer duo a hot minute to bounce back with a follow-up, but I think y'all will agree that the newly-released Stay Alive was worth the wait. On this leisurely, head-noddable jam, Erik's horn and piano samples set the mood as Serge spits eloquently about the the trials and tribulations of life on the grind. Sam Lingle directs the accompanying visuals. Gen.Erik and Severe have yet to announce plans for any joint projects, but y'all will be the first to know when that changes.
