Ever the considerate host, heavyweight DJ/producer/record exec Steve Aoki makes his guest the focus on his first Booth feature, new single CuDi the Kid. Here, the headliner’s grinding electronic grooves and Blink-182 drummer-turned solo star Travis Barker‘s schizophrenic percussion rhythms set the mood as Ohio-born alt-hip-hop heavyweight Kid CuDi delivers a hazy account of his rise to prominence. Aoki’s Wonderland LP has yet to receive a solid drop date, but those who like what they’re hearing can stay tuned to the Booth for all the latest.
