Even with a studio album and a mixtape on the way, T-Pain‘s still got creativity to spare. Last night, the Nappy Boy general took to Twitter to unleash a new record that won’t be on either of his upcoming projects. In fact, he claims Say the Word (I’m Gone) is “NOT A SONG AT ALL.” Personally, I think he’s being overly modest. Featuring a simple, stripped-down piano backdrop and some plaintive, multi-tracked vocal harmonies à laJames Fauntleroy, it sounds like a damn fine song to me. It even comes complete with a set of basic, candid in-studio visuals. Neither Stoicville nor The Iron Way are currently scheduled, but we’ll keep you posted on both forthcoming projects as we learn more.
