UPDATE: Click "Watch Video" above for the brand new I'm From Texas visuals.

It's no question that the state of Texas has put on for hip-hop in a major way the past eight years, but for whatever reason the state is seriously lacking when it comes to Texas anthems. That will now change, however, thanks to Houston spitter Trae The Truth's new star-studded single, I'm From Texas, featuring Lone Star State veterans Bun B, Slim Thug, Paul Wall, Z-Ro and newcomer Kirko Bangz. Although the record is a surefire Texas anthem, I'm From Texas' woozy production surprisingly comes courtesy of California-based producer 1500 (of 1500 or Nothin' fame). In Texas they do everything really big and this single is certainly no exception. Be on the lookout for Black Print, the forthcoming mixtape on which I'm From Texas will find a home.
