Travi$ Scott ft. James Fauntleroy - Drive (The 1975 Remix)

This summer at Coachella, Houston rapper/producer Travi$ Scott found himself kicking it with The 1975, an indie rock group from Manchester, England. Details on the encounter are hazy (if you know what I mean), but they must have hit it off, because it resulted in this freshly-minted remix of Drive, a cut off the former's 2013 debut EP. While the original's moody, nocturnal vibe is retained (as are James Fauntleroy's guest vocals), The 1975 dial up the intensity considerably, slicing and dicing the source material over syncopated clicks and a thumping kick drum. Frontman Matt Healy delivers a reverb-drenched verse on the back. This rendition of Drive isn't attached to anything larger, but you can still cop its prototype as part of Owl Pharaoah.
